MAJOR DEALS

     The case of 32 million USD in the matter of privatisation of a chemical plant was won. The clients were represented in tenders for oil supplies, paging and aviation projects and those tenders were won. Also we protected Lithuanian company's interests in a 4 million USD international sales transaction and represented foreign clients in a 20 million USD investment project in Kaunas. We represented the client in resolving the dispute of 12 million USD for supplied fuel oil, presented legal opinion on the State Control Department Act for 37,5 million USD, and the matter was resolved in favour of our client. Many other important and interesting deals were successfully performed.

     In 1999 our Law Firm won the tender to advise Lithuanian Railways (authorised share capital of the company is over 350 million USD) on reorganisation and restructuring of the Company which was a part of preparation for its privatisation. Our Law Firm has been successfully participating in PHARE Transport Harmonisation Program and PHARE project on health protection.
